Anyone on here with Sleep Apnea get the Inspire implant? (1 Viewer)

Good to hear. I just assumed no insurance would pay for it when there is a cheaper (worse?) option available with a CPAP machine.
You must try and fail with CPAP before Inspire becomes a viable option. FWIW I move from CPAP to BiPAP about 12 years ago. As my pressures went up the bloating and mask leaks got worse. For those that don’t know, BiPAP differs from CPAP in that there is pressure when breathe in and when you exhale. I started out in 2007 with OSA and a CPAP set at 6 in/Hg. Several years later I graduated to OSA with CSA and went to BiPAP with pressures at 19/15 in/Hg. It really suck.s Or blows, depending on how you look at it.

I was looking into it once upon a time, but I gained about 30 pounds and now my BMI is too high. I use a cpap and bipap machine, but I dont love it. I can tell the difference in my sleep quality tho. urrently set on 4/8 but I feel like it probably needs to be at 6/14. Initially the pressure was too high and I would wake up with inner ear problems and vertigo. Then they dialed it back a bit. I'd love to hear reviews on the inspire once you get it turned on!

I will definitely report back.
