I would have to think that Vitt will take the time he has off to scout the teams on the second half of our schedule. He'll be able to watch the games, see the highlights, and maybe even listen to some postgame analysis to prepare game plans for when he returns. Could be a little advantage.

Asked many, many times, actually.

But the answer is no. They cannot have any contact with anyone associated with the NFL without consent from the league offices. They are just suspended, not fired, so they are still associated with the NFL. Hence, no contact with each other whatsoever.

IIRC, Vilma has consent to talk to the Saints trainers about his rehab process. But that is the only approved contact.

Since Vitt and Loomis are suspended and aren't allowed any contact with the team, doesn't that mean they're free to get together with Sean Payton to discuss the second phase of what they want to do when their suspensions are lifted and to talk game plans and personal decisions, etc?
