So they can't be at the facilities beginning this week - can they participate in Week 1 preparation?

I would have to think that Vitt will take the time he has off to scout the teams on the second half of our schedule. He'll be able to watch the games, see the highlights, and maybe even listen to some postgame analysis to prepare game plans for when he returns. Could be a little advantage.

Probably part of the reason they already started scouting the Redskins two weeks ago.

I do believe the suspensions start today do they not?

*edit* I guess if I had read the other thread first I would know they were today...sorry.

I know this question has been asked before because I even remember reading it lol, but can suspended players/coaches contact each other while they are in "timeout?"

Asked many, many times, actually. :hihi:

But the answer is no. They cannot have any contact with anyone associated with the NFL without consent from the league offices. They are just suspended, not fired, so they are still associated with the NFL. Hence, no contact with each other whatsoever.

IIRC, Vilma has consent to talk to the Saints trainers about his rehab process. But that is the only approved contact.

You know what I'm wondering? Since Vitt and Loomis are suspended and aren't allowed any contact with the team, doesn't that mean they're free to get together with Sean Payton to discuss the second phase of what they want to do when their suspensions are lifted and to talk game plans and personal decisions, etc?

If you think that any talking head on ESPN or Fox can see something Vitt wouldn't see himself, you're daft
