It was a good story that he came home to play for his home town team but the fact is he has been terrible.

I think he was seriously considering retirement, and the Saints gave him the opportunity to finish his career close to home, and on what was then considered a “top 10 defense in the league”…

Then, after he got “truck sticked” multiple times by Cordarelle Patterson in week 1… then again by LF7 week 2, he pretty much realized that it’s not worth it.

He’s a step slower, and now he is taking bad angles and “safe” tackling to protect himself. That’s a recipe for a very bad safety.

Once I saw that business decision he made with DK on that td that was it.

This is a reflection on the org.... Chiefs knew and they let him go... but saints let a contributor like CJGJ walk and signed up a washed safety because he is a local boy.

Didn't he also have something in the training camp - some mysterious reason for missing time?

I remember we signed a washed up center a long time ago from the Bears. Dude got cut after 4 or 5 games. We had a pretty good backup and he went on to start for us the next few years. Too bad we don’t have any serviceable safety.

The Dome was chock full of Louisiana residents wearing their LSU "Burreaux" jerseys and straight up Bengals merch. All of them actively rooting for the Bengals. I'm an LSU fan and love what Burrow/Chase did while there but it sickened me to see so many Louisianans rooting for the Bengals.

Alot of ppl were expecting Honey Badger and Jarvis from their rookie season..... There is a reason why teams let them go. With that said I was expecting more than what were are getting....

The money we gave him vs his play, yup. We did sign the Browner after Byrd but we didn’t pay him much. We need to cut TM at the end of the season even if we have to eat that cap. He shouldn’t be on the team. Dude doesn’t even try. He is toxic to this team.
