NFL Draft Army wildcat QB Bryson Daily (2 Viewers)

He’s the closest I’ve seen as a legit Taysom type player. Not as versatile as THILL but similar.

People there is a big difference between college and NFL. If there were players that could even come close to filling the TH role since 2020 we would maybe see someone that is even a quarter of that.

It took alot of Prep, talent and willingness on Taysoms part to achieve this.

You will have to wait 5 years for that. He has to be on active duty that long.
Figured they may waive that for him as they do sometimes.

Figured he may get that same deal.

In recent years, the Department of Defense has established a policy that allows some athletes to defer their military service in order to play professional sports. This policy is not solely for football players but applies to all athletes who have the opportunity to turn pro.

Can he catch, block, tackle, block punts, and run routes? Taysom is much more than just a running QB.
Did anybody know Taysom Hill could do those things before he did them?

No. He was a guy who did a little, then showed a willingness to do a little more, then kept adding to his skills over time. This expectation that guys come pre-fabricated and fully formed with demonstrated evidence is half-baked. After measurements and intangibles, the only thing left is to imagine possibilities. Daily wouldn’t make it at the next level expecting to solely play QB, the way Taysom thought he might all the way up to the point when the team changed his position to drive the point home: “throwing is one of many things you’ll do on this team.”

He’s worth investigating for sure to serve the role Taysom played in recent weeks
