Athletic says Warren. I’d dig that.

9. New Orleans Saints: Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

Regardless of who’s going to be the quarterback, the Saints are missing offensive playmakers — an issue that has allowed opposing defenses to dictate the action, rather than the other way around. But Warren and his diverse skill set would greatly open up Kellen Moore’s offense.
Me too. Warren would be a great pick. I like Jeanty as well, but it seems he might be gone by pick 9.

I hope they take the best player available and would not be sad or surprised if it ended up Warren. He looks great as a route runner, receiver, and running the ball and he is a good enough run blocker to not give away plays based on personnel.

Agreed on all. If we draft him I’ll look forward to knowing what it feels like to have a dynamic TE again. I like Foster but that room is slim pickens for the last few seasons imo. Very slim.

On a side note, nothing against him but I hope Johnson is not re-signed. Very very underwhelming.

That's because they don't set their odds to predict the probability of outcome. They set their odds to manipulate betters into betting in the way that is most profitable for them.

They are not in the business of predicting the future. They are in the business of taking as much money from people as they can, just like almost all other businesses are.

This makes it make more sense.

I agree. I love the idea of Jeanty at 9, but Warren has proven himself to be highly effective at TE screens and LoS dump offs, which is considered an extension run philosophically, as it still brings the defense up. Plus he’s great deep, middle, sidelines… it doesn’t matter.

If we’re not super interested and believing our franchise QB of the future is there, give me Jeanty or Warren and I’ll be celebrating.

I agree on Moreau and JJ. I also thought JJ was going to have a much more successful transition to TE.

I am not going to go off the rails or anything if they take an interior guy at 9, but it sure would be nice if it’s a big play/game-changer like Warren or Jeanty.

It’s hard to imagine that Sanders or especially Ward would be there at 9, but as unpredictable as this offseason has been, nothing would surprise me.

Mike Gesicki and Zach Ertz are a couple of names I recognize. Juwan Johnson was the first name on the list that I saw. Not an exciting list, and the TE potential draftees are considered promising.
Yeah I agree, I really like this years TE class.

Yeah not much out there. Trade market could be an option though…

Saw a guy on Fox Sports doing a rating of top players regardless of position. He had Warren at #3 and Jeanty at #4. 🙂 Not saying they'd be drafted at those spots, just his take ranking ability.

I hope others don't agree because Warren is the guy I'm hoping for.

In the fall I thought maybe we could get him in the second 😜 He lit it up and now I'm hoping he makes it to 1.9

1 of the 2 will be there at 9, and if they’re both gone then 1 of Graham or Tet has to be there. We’re gonna be good no matter
