Why would the Eagles want to trade away Lito Sheppard just to sign Samuel? Doesn't make sense and the Eagles are certainly not known for breaking the bank.

Could be very well true..but I have gone to the Eagles site and they are not even discussing the issue...and there are plenty of people on their board right now because their local sports radio program is staying live up until 12 am..I would at least think that there would be some reports of this development.

I agree. I'm not saying it won't happen, but I don't understand the logic. Honestly, for what the Eagles do defensively, I think Lito Sheppard is the superior player anyways. I don't see the logic.

If they landed Asante, Lito would pretty much be gone, right? If it were between Samuel and Briggs I would rather Samuel.....but if it were Briggs and then Lito I would be insanely happy.

Vilma does not phase me as I don't care who is on our IR.
