The Argies have been playing that way since I’ve been following the sport which is at least 21 years now. Can’t stand their national side. They do produce class players though, can’t argue with that.

As someone who appreciated the Ewing/Oakley Knicks playing a style that undercut finesse teams, I can’t argue against the approach too much
And the term ‘agricultural football’ is rather pithy

They lost Auturo Vidal, Beausejour and Gary Medel, who were stalwarts in midfield.
They are in a transition phase but no real international stars to replace those guys.
