Just a reminder:

Remember, there are 12 models of human-form Cylons:

1. Number 6
2. Aaron Doral
3. Lieutenant Junior Grade Sharon "Boomer" Valerii
4. Leoben Conoy
5. Doc Simon
6. D'anna Biers, reporter (Lucy Lawless)
7. Brother Cavil, priest ( Dean Stockwell, "Evil Al" as Taurus calls him :) )

Thought last week was one of the best episodes I've seen. Loved Galactica jumping into and then back out of the atmosphere. But I'm really glad that the New Caprica jaunt is over with. Tonight's episode looks to be very interesting from the previews. I can't wait to see what Col. Tigh has in mind for all the "collaborators."

I expected it to last the whole season myself, I was a little suprised it ended as sloon as it did, but i don't have a problem with it. At least this way the story line doesn't get two drawn out an boring.

I feel mentally challenged for being so anxious about a television show, but I am...

That has got to be one of the best space battles ever done.

Wouldn't it be cool if these new Battle Star Galactica producers tackled Star Wars episodes I, II, III. I have a feeling the writing would be a ton better.

So what happened Friday nite? Had to work and missed it, will watch the Monday nite rerun though.

Friday was pretty uneventful compared to the previous ep, but it did have some moments of suspense. Centered around how they handle the collaborators.

In the end, Roslyn's solution reminded me of two things: South Africa's apartheid hearings and the revelation of the Mississippi Sovereignty Commission's lists.

Hearings to clear the air, no prosecutions.

Yeah, my first thought was South Africa.

OK episode -- nothing too big. I'll be interested in seeing where they take Baltar.

I figured a Sci/Fi geek like you would get the Quantum Leap reference. :)

The concept of one god by the cylones, and enforcing tranquility by death squad, also kinds of remind me of Nazi regime down on New Caprica

Make A Cylon Jack-O-Lantern

It's a pumpkin! It's a Jack-o-lantern! It's an electronics project! It's... a Cylon!

Cylons are great. They're evil, menacing, and shiny. They have glowing red lights, computer-monotone voices, and they aim as precisely as imperial stormtroopers.

For halloween this year, we made Cylon Jack-o-lanterns in both large and small versions. The design consists of two parts, a pumpkin-carving part and an electronics part. The big idea, of course, is to make the Cylon's red eye scan back and forth.

How well does it work? Take a look! (Youtube)

Shall we now delve into the morals and ethics of biological weapons?

Wait, that's next week's episode. :)

This week, I blinked twice when they showed the "hybred" Cylon that runs the base ship.

Where have I seen this before? Hmmm...ah! Babylon 5 Shadow ship, of course. The human/central processor sent out psychic screams of pain and horror.

The Cylon version on Galactica talks to itself in mystic gibberish which may or may not mean anything. Might be messages from the Cylon god.

There are 12 models of human form Cylons. When Baltar asks about the five that haven't been revealed, Number 6 gets all defensive and says the Cylons never speak of them. A breakaway group? Failed experiments? Guess we'll find out about that further on down the line.

Adama handled Starbuck and Tigh's meltdown like we knew Adama would. It would have been much cooler if Tigh had just picked up the pistol and blown his own brains out. But, apparently, we get to see him continue his descent into total dementia.

Starbuck cuts her hair and tries to return to being Starbuck. Good luck.

Apollo is out of his fat suit. Boy, that didn't take long, did it? Wonder if the budget for all the makeup played a factor.

So, let me get this straight, Sharon's callsign, "Boomer," now refers to the Sharon who shot Adama and was killed by Callie.

The turncoat Cylon Sharon, the one that had the baby, is now callsign "Athena." Did I get that right?
