I haven't seen any rumors about him and the Saints so it's just fans. Someone from SI posted that the Seahawks, Bengals and Jenkins are all interested in him a week ago but I haven't seen anything since.

Ward and Kupp were the only other FA's I've seen us connected to.

Saldiveri can't seem to stay healthy & when he did play it wasn't the best...

Even the most casual fan that watch the 2024 Saints realizes that LG was a problem that didn't have a solution...

It's possible Moore wants to spend a training camp evaluating our Oline before bringing in expensive help. Gotta think, he really doesn't have much film from last year to go off of considering the starting Oline played what, 3 games together?

He was asking 3 years $31 million.
That may have been too high for our FO & HC.

Mike D said today that Saldiveri missed so much time that you could see the lack of reps hurt him. I still think that's the guy the Saints want to take over the LG spot. He just needs to stay healthy to get the reps in

I can't figure out Teven Jenkins. Heading into 5th year in the league, Bears let him go, he's been paid $2M/year for 4 years, I read he's been injured alot, some randos on reddit say he's erratic and is a good run blocker but not a pass blocker.

Does he sound like a viable free agent prospect? I can understand him wanting a 3-year deal, but on the money, he seems high. He averaged 13 games per year from 2022-2024.

I don't know who his agent is, but they are doing their craft with aplomb in blowing rings of sunshine up people's butts. Suddenly (!) - this guy is a top free agent prospect at his guard position. Spotrac says (I didn't check) he's worth 3 yrs at $31M! Them agent commissions are sweet.

If I’m being honest I’m not high on him and wasn’t super high on Becton.

The bears had a horrific o line last year and got Caleb clobbered at a near record pace. Do you want a guy that was in that o line for 10 mil a year and missed games?

I’d say no

Maybe 6-7 mil but that’d be it.
