The Raiders speculation never seemed convincing. Brady has a small minority stake in a franchise that’s been a wreck for decades.

That said, the Bears have had their own longstanding struggles. Won’t be surprised if Johnson is looking for another OC gig in three years.

Until I see DA do anything without the foundation of the very detail-oriented SP regime’s backdrop, I’m calling him a fraud.

I don’t view him as some revered DC. He got to us at the exact right time, with our star studded defense and brand new shutdown corner, and reaped the benefits.

I’m just not buying that he’s some defensive savant based on his “maybe slightly above average at times” level of success under Sean.

He’ll bring stability to the organization. He’s not an inspiring hire as we know his ceiling. He’s no Sean Payton or Andy Reid when it comes to offensive creativity, so I can’t see him winning a playoff game with Carr. But the Saints will be back to possibly being an 8 to 10 win team.

Looks like a pretty good move for DA. Like we always say, wasn't good as a HC but he can coach a defense.

By the end, half this board was convinced DA was a terrible DC and as recently as Sunday many were saying that his scheme is outdated and terrible against modern mobile QBs.
