Falcon's are an 8-8 - 9-7 team that was extremely lucky last year while being exposed down the stretch...their margin of victory was like 4 points a game until the last few late season blowouts against injured and subpar teams....they didn't beat a team with a winning record by I think more than 6 all year.

Falcons are going to miss the playoffs if one or two things happen this year
1. If Ryan doesn't improve
2. If they are unable to upgrade their D without losing the strength of their OL

If they don't miss the playoffs they are still one and done most likely.

I guess the saints will go 2-14 too then and will have the first pick in the draft next year since the saints made history for losing to the worst playoff team in the history of the nfl..

Yup, but y'all lost to the team who was lower seeded than the "worst playoff team in the history of the nfl", right or wrong? FACT! Deal with it.

Congrats. Put this in your trophy case.

Well, our defense did get shredded by a team that had almost zero offense. Even a failclown can make a valid point once in a while, but I still see them as a .500 team. They had too many lucky wins last season. I don't see any carry over for them. 3rd place at best for the failers.

Did I not speak the truth? I did. No, y'all lost to the eventual Super Bowl Champs. Blame that on your overachieving Falcons. Now, get a tissue... and KISS DA RING! MUAH!!

Yes, the Saints lost to the Seahawks. Quite a few Saints starters were out for the game and Hasselbatch had an amazing game. The Saints were far from a dominant team in '10 and Atlanta wasn't any better throughout the year. Both teams had to fight for a bunch of tough wins. Saints fans, remember the Dallas game? Falcons fans, remember the 9ers game. Both were sure losses that were handed to our respective teams.

That said, the Saints are the winningest team in the NFC over the last 5 years. They have a Super Bowl ring and have been to 2 NFC championship games. I think that kinda settles the argument with any honest Falcons fan.

Yep, no argument here..

Dream on....we had so many injuries it is a credit to this team to even compete ...the Falcons would have had a shot at a top 5 pick if you had half our injuries....heck you were totally healthy and should have been at best 9-7. You better hope Gonzo, Abe and Turner don't slow down, Ryan improves and you come out with a decent OL and an impact DE if you even want to sniff the playoffs. The cream puff schedule of last year is over...the book is out on Ryan and the Falcons - stop the run and make ryan beat you (look at his QB rating when he doesn't get 120+ from his running game...Defenses are going to make him prove he can do something he rarely has in the past).

Lets see we Lost
RB: Ivory (surgery), Bush, PT(surgery), Hamilton(surgery), PJ
FB: We lost Heath Evans (surgery) for the season
WR: Did not lose but 2 or our top 3 options were hampered by injuries that required offseason surgery: Meachem (surgery) and Colston (surgery)
TE: Shockey was hurt (as usual), and Jimmy Grant finished on the injury list
DT: Anythony Hargrove (surgery) our only rotational DL (Ellis and Ayodele had to play the whole game)
CB: Greer our number 1 CB was hampered down the stretch by injuries and Porter who had offseason knee surgery.
FS: Malcom Jenkins was lost due to injury and Darren Sharper was unable to recover from microfracture surgery
WLB: Cassilius was injured early after showing great promise...he looked to be every bit the playmaker Vilma was before the injury (surgery)..now he has a lot to prove to be a Vilma type player but he definitely shined when given a chance last year.
