It’s one of the best nicknames of all time. Half the time he makes plays I yell out “Honey Badger!”


How did we get to page 3 without Honey Badger? lol

That's a good point. I guess since we got him in the twilight of his career his name never pops into my head as being a saint. I know he is and he still makes plays but had we drafted him out of college it would mean more to me. When I picture honey badger I picture him in a cardinals uniform.

I wasn't sure if this meant nicknames that the player already had before coming to the Saints (Deuce) or if they acquired the name once they got here. Either way, I chose Iron Head...it was so fitting of him.

Iron head was a great name and beer man and great story.

Legatron was a retread. St Louis fans were calling Zuerlein legatron years before anyone called Morstead that, and I have never heard anyone outside of SR refer to Morestead as legatron

I just checked on 2024 punter ranks. Morstead is 14th. Hayseed is 32nd. 35 punters are on the list.

A year ago, Neck Tattoo was ranked 36th in a 32-team league. Can our too-big-to-fail GM get us a freaking punter, especially since we do not score TDs much?
