Really easy question with only one right answer, The Dome Patrol era uniforms. Those were perfect. The FDL on the helmet was perfect. They started tinkering with the uniform and it has never been the same. The color rush uniforms are great but it's a shame that our traditional black jersey/gold pants uniform is basically unwearable now. The color rush uniforms showed me that Nike has the ability to produce an actual gold color but for some reason they just can't even when it comes to the pants.

Teams feel like they have to change for the sake of change but change isn't always better. Matter of fact it seems like change is almost always worse. Just look at the Bucs and the falcons. They have been tinkering with their uniforms for years and they just keep getting worse. The Bucs should've kept the Derrick Brooks/Tony Dungy era uniforms and I'm ashamed to admit this but the falcons had some of the cleanest uniforms in the league back in the Deion/Jerry Glanville days.

I like the helmet but don't like them with that jersey. That is the best jersey though...hands down.

Agreed. The helmet is . Love the details it is compromised of. Like you said, the color rush is #1, but that particular helmet is better suited for one of our all black get ups

When I saw that helmet, that's what I thought we were going to do. Then they threw them on the color rush and I just pulled a Dukie..

The color rush unis with more combos would be 10s. Fix the golds (Dome Patrol era gold) to match helmet-numbers-pants. Make a black home jersey. Have gold and black pants with the same stripe pattern. Have socks that match the sleeve striping. Oh, and go back to the bigger logo on the helmet.

I loathe that black helmet, by the way. Just terrible.

All they had to do was take the Dome Patrol helmets and reverse the color scheme. The black helmet really benefits from the larger 1970s-80s fleur-de-lis and the bolder white outline.

The way the black helmet ended up getting executed last season, the fleur-de-lis was way too small and the mini-fleurs used to make that quasi-stripe washed out when seen from a distance.

The 2022 black helmets were nice when held in your hands, or from close up. At a distance, through, the subtle touches just get lost.

The white color rush and the black jersey/gold pants throwbacks, and all combinations thereof, should be our full time uniform set.

The wrist bands and socks made it even better. Who didn’t want those striped black and gold socks when they were a kid!

Mostly agree with you. Always thought a platinum, gloss with a fine gold metal flake would look sweet with the Color Rush unis. Would do the FDL in its usual black and go with a more understated stripe across the crown.
