I have never much cared for the color rush uniforms. I don't like all that white. The saints are supposed to be the black and gold, not white.

Yeah. I agree. The style of the color rush unis is great, though. Very clean and traditional. I’m fine with them wearing white on white once or twice per season, but the gold pants should be on display for most games. I’d have our Halloween home game be the only blackout uniform game each season, too. Make it our Thanksgiving-like tradition. Blackout the Dome on/around Halloween in primetime each season.

Wasn't the Saints choice to do that. The NFL made the rule after teams came up with their alternate helmets that they could only wear them with their alternate uniform. That being our color rush.

Not the Saints doing. Roger probably didn't like the idea of the Saints being able to be the baddest mother****ers on the planet with an all black jersey combo.

I want to know who decided that the black helmet should go with the color rush, and then I would like to drop my resume off for that job. I have no relative experience whatsoever, but I am confident I can make better decisions.

Yep. The State of Louisiana patch on the pants and sleeve does the trick.

Yes. How about meeting them in the middle to create one awesome set of unis? I love those block numbers and that old gold shade. The helmet from the Dome Patrol era is also the best.

Having said that, I also love the “color rush” stripe patterns on the sleeves, pants, and socks.

The white color rush and the black jersey/gold pants throwbacks, and all combinations thereof, should be our full time uniform set.
