I've always known it as cush-cush rather than couscous.

way back in the 70's, the detroit tigers had the best bleachers in sports.

$3 to get in------zero if ya knew who i knew--and an incredible party atmosphere. no pat-downs as you entered, no non-smoking rules, and nobody really cared about the game. it was more like a college dorm room with 4,000 people in it. the amount of drugs, liquor and obsenity was absurd. chants of "eat sh**" vs "fu" were bantered back and forth from the left and right of the centerfield bleachers as well as 50 or more beach balls being batted around were the usual forms of entertainment.

then the hammer dropped.

prices were increased. the police upped their patrol ten-fold. signs were posted------

1) NO CHANTING
2) NO BEACH BALLS

immediately the warring factions began a new battle. in a low bored monotone the left side of the bleachers would sit on their hands and drone "no chanting" and the right would answer in their broken -spirited drone "no beach balls"
