Better Toto Song: Africa or Rosanna? (2 Viewers)

I don’t follow. Are people saying Solisbury Hill is a good Peter Gabriel song or a bad one?

The correct answer is good, by the way. That pregnant pause gets me all the time.

I brought it up initially (I think) implying that it was a good song, but upon re-reading, it seemed my statement could be taken either way and the subsequent responses were sort of vague.

I need to change my answer to Rosanna. That song is just fantastic.

1-Africa
2-99
3-Rosanna
4-Hold The Line
5-Stranger In Town

Does that make me the only living soul with FIVE Toto songs on his playlist??

I think Marty Graw was unaware that In Your Eyes and Rosanna were both written about Rosanna Arquette... To be fair, i was yesterday years old when i found out that In Your Eyes was written about her.

But i dont get the relation between In Your Eyes and Africa(?)
I never knew that.

As a big fan of MacGruber I'm gonna have to go with Rosanna on this one.

I had a roommate in law school that worshiped Genesis. Also some obscure band related to Genesis that I can't recall. But, I despise Genesis and think their only possible redeeming quality is Peter Gabriel, so it made for some tough moments when it came to picking music to play.
Same here. One of my hallmates at Maryland played Genesis. All. The. Time. I recently got together with 2 other hallmates from that time and we all agreed we hated Genesis thanks to Bob.

As regards Bob and his proclivities, I enjoyed his hallucinogens much more than I enjoyed Genesis.
