We need a legit scorer and facilitator. Trae Young provides both.

Willie Green’s offense is terrible at times but he’s a good defensive coach. Pels defense is ranked top 10 back to back years but can’t do much with it because the Pels can’t score when needed.

I’m confident that Willie will get Trae to buy in so he can be at least serviceable on defense. We need a shooter who can take over games really bad. Trae and Zion would be fun to watch.

Doesn't matter. None of these guys know anything yet. These are just educated guesses that you or I could do. Nothing more than that. And we've seen plenty of "insiders" that really don't know jack. Example: CSP to Dallas annual crap from "insiders". Not much respect for that ilk from this corner.

I don't think Griff even knows what he is going to do - yet. Waaaay too early in the process. And Sidery/Stein/whoever prove it with the words they use (see the phrases I quoted above). They're both just media mooks trying to be the blind squirrel that finds a nut.

I agree it’s early in the process before the offseason has fully started around the league. I don’t think they’re just guessing or don’t know anything though.

The wording is no different than Shams or Woj’s tweets. Their reports are sometimes about interest or suitors. The aggregate accounts reshare their tweets word for word. We’re use to seeing them report a concrete transaction more often.

If you want to believe, that's fine. I've seen much more wrong speculation, from supposed insiders, than right.

I pick a very few writers who have proven themselves (Underhill, Schefter, Shams) to be more credible than the rest of their ilk and follow even them with caution (even the good guys are often wrong).

The others I choose to use for entertainment, much like wrestling, nothing more.

We'll see about BI. A trade could happen, or not. I lean towards "or not", but that is just my thought process and I'm not expecting anyone to take my opinion for news.

So I'm not buying ANY speculation yet, and I'm certainly not expecting any meat on the bones of any rumor until at least the playoffs are finished.

He’s repeating Woj’s words from the NBA Draft Lottery on TV. Woj would have to be a joke too for stating Trae Young is in trade talks
