Agreed. They are consenting adults, so it is their business. But the relationship is a strange one--the age difference is two generations, not one, which you do see with rich and powerful men. And it seems they have little in common. All relationships are in some part transactional, but here the transactional aspect is (no pun intended) naked and seems total--proximity to wealth, power and celebrity for the 24-year-old body of a beauty-pageant runner-up. This is not going to last.

she was 18 when we started dating...i confirmed that before we went anywhere...barely 18 ...her birthday is the 1st of oct and we started dating the end of october...just happen to be timing...i was not actively looking for her when it all happened.

I always heard that the rule of thumb for dating was 1/2 your age +7. Eventually you need to have a conversation & the life experience beyond that is a bit hard to overcome. I'm 6 years older than my wife. That would have been a problem when I was in HS & she was still in Elementary. At 65, no one bats an eye & I still count my blessings daily & question her judgement,LOL!

For sure that is the main draw.. but i think that also part of the draw is usually younger women like her, at 24, seem to have less baggage, sweeter dispositions, and less-entitled attitudes than middle aged or older women…. Or so i have heard………………….

Yeah we’ve all heard that “rule” for years and years, yet ive never heard anyone explain where it came from or who made up that “rule .”

It just seems so arbitrary and weird .. it seems to me that true connections and , yes, even love- are extremely hard to find so as long as everyone is of legal age and is there consensually then if you’re a middle-aged guy- why rule out a 42 year old woman , or a 26 year old woman ? Love comes in all shapes and sizes and ages .

i see these creepy remarks and all that but i dont think much of it. I am in the same situation but i dont have 7 superbowl rings...i am just a simple man with a woman who loves me for who i am ...and we are 30 years apart...i just turned 57 and she is 26 and we have been together going on 9 years this october...we have traveled europe thanks to her...we do everything together...we not even close to rich but we have all our paid everymonth and get to have date night to where ever we want to go...and yes i get the "is she your daughter" crap and other stuff all the time...nothing new to me...but i also dont care..so good for Belichick...If it works for them good for them...
