Bill Belichick Will Likely Never Coach Again (1 Viewer)

Living in Boston the last year; they have been ready for him to leave. Its obvious hes in over his head in todays coaching needs.

Bill wants a HC title for Shula record, thats it. He may not find a job this year, as the trend is younger offensive coachs but I believe that will pass in years time. I could see a talented team looking for a short term fix in BB in the coming years. The point that is obvious is Bill is already in his 70s, one should tread carefully
Exactly this. He's trying to do the same thing Brady did. Hang around long enough that the all-time records eventually go to you for no reason other than longevity. If BB wants to set the record by winning 7 games a year for the next three years, that's trash. I mean Brady literally had his marriage implode so he could set records. The kind of ego and selfishness it takes to do that, I cannot fathom.

Imagine still wanting to work, in any capacity, at 73 years old…. I cannot …. The only thing id be “working’ at, is planning my next travel destination or improving my pickleball skills.. (i dont actually play pickleball, just trying to make a point .).. Those who cant ‘find purpose’ without work must lead sad lives with no outside interests .

The game is better off without serial cheaters.
BB can go retire and live off the notion that he is the GOAT without people challenging him on his scandals

There's a very real possibility we see BB with the Saints next season. A good QB he can work with, some talent on offense, and very good defense across the board. Mix that with a weaker division (and conference) that'll allow him to win more for his records and most likely cleaning house anyways, it doesn't take a neurologist to see that it makes a lot of sense. This is all under the assumption that DA fails, though.
