I got 2 theories.

A. If the refs hadn't screwed the team with the no call, and they had gone on to win the Superbowl - both he and Drew would have retired then.

B. Or if the team had drafted Majors, SP would still be with the Saints

I question whether Nix and Rattler were rated the same by many pro scouts, though one can quibble over the word "many."

Nix was the 12th picked in the draft. Rattler was the 150th player picked. Where they were picked says much about how they were evaluated. Payton, who is a good judge of talent on offense, became a huge fan and was worried that another team might pick Nix before 12. I doubt Denver was the only team that had a very high grade on him. That Rattler lasted to 150 certainly means that no team had a first-round grade on Rattler. And it probably means few, if any, teams had a second-round grade on Rattler.
