Brees helping bring a sliders chain to NOLA... (1 Viewer)

I feel he's trying to make it too complicated if you go the food route. Get a well a couple of well-known franchises and be done with it. But hey, I don't have millions to invest.
Does he truly invest in these ventures or does he just act as a spokesperson and provide his name for advertising; in exchange for compensation?

Still waiting for In-n-Out burger. Will probably never happen, and that’s probably good for my health!
Eh, you can probably forget them going to a medium-sized market. In-and-Out only does hyper-populated major metro areas like Dallas and Los Angeles.

There’s a school of thought out there that says Shake Shack is a better burger anyway. Two of those in the N.O. area.

Problem is that In-n-Out is privately held and does not franchise. They have also chosen to grow relatively slowly, by modern standards. They've been around for 73 years and "only" have 358 restaurants.

Yeah, I know they won’t be coming here. Spent a year in LA long time ago and it’s still my favorite fast food burger!

Eh, With so many great and unique New Orleans related restaurants, I don’t know why I’d be that inclined to support a chain restaurant.

If it’s a franchise that’s based in Louisiana, I understand that.

But otherwise, I personally try to do my best to eat and support local
It's based out of Baton Rouge...

You have to use vented containers and train your staff to open all the vents. Some chains do it better than others. Or you could just use paper containers. Their isn't really an elegant solution w/ styrofoam.

I kind of get tired of chicken fingers at Caines, and wish they had 1 or 2 more menu options. But, you know what I never get tired of, is the staff smile and look genuinely happy to work there. Their clean bathrooms. That they have yet to get my order wrong, or forget anything in my order. The food is always good. I never get tired of that. They are just better at staffing than any restaurant chain in the city.
Their chicken fingers are good but what I really like is their bread and sauce. You are right about the staff and clean bathrooms. I also love Chick fil a. The one I go to most often is in Slidell. The drive through is always packed but they handle it very well. My go to order there is the chicken sandwich and a 8 piece chicken nuggets with a large diet lemonade. If I could get that from them and bread and sauce from Cain’s I’d be good.

Sorry… but I’ve seen this thread for a few days and it can’t figure out why it’s still around…

Brees isn’t a Saint anymore… he’s just a super rich dude that’s trying to make more money… I don’t care!!!

Good luck bro… but this is a Saints forum and you’re not a Saint.

So, do you have issues when others post threads about past players as well, i.e. Dome Patrol members, etc?

He owns 50% of Walk-Ons. Best investment he probably ever made.

Back when In-N-Out expanded to Texas, I read that they only open stores where they can have one of their factories nearby.

Being able to transport the patties to the restaurants quickly - contributes to the freshness and taste.

If that's still the case, it would explain their limited coverage area.

(I've yet to try Shake Shack)
