More proof that it is a good thing that emotional fans don't run teams!!!

It is idiocy to say that Colston is "Dropston" or other foolishness.

Even better is to view those stats side by side with the "targeted" stats. Colston IS shown on the targeted stats...meaning he is targeted a lot...but he is not in the top 24 for drops.

Meachem is a faster, stronger, slightly more athletic Colston. Colston is a little taller, but Meach has an impressive wingspan also.

Colston is probably still a better route runner, but if he keeps dropping catchable balls then he could lose considerable reps to Meach.

I think Colston has a tremendous heart and it shows via some tough catches in traffic, and he should continue to be a threat in the red zone, but if I had to put 2 receivers on the field on 1st and 10 at my 20, then I think I'm playing Moore/Meach.

Thank god we didn't lose. We are coming off a great win and you would think we just lost out on even making the playoffs. Man we are in the playoffs and have just as good a chance as any other NFC team to win it all. yeah there were some bad decisions made by Drew but it's because of him we have a chance in every game. Just think if Drew doesn't make that tackle the game is most likely over. Enjoy what we have right now because it won't last forever.

I don't care that I will be flamed but Brees needs to stop with the crazy panic throwing. Those seven points could have been the difference in the game. If this were Reggie bush, people would be livid. It's embarassing hearing them call it Favre-like. To be truthful, the two passes this year against the falcons are Brooks-like.

Colston needs to get that coach back and play catch with the ball with the colors on it or whatever. His case of the dropsies can no longer be excused. It has reached the point where Colston catching is as much of a surprise as Henderson catching.

Pretty soon, it will be the playoffs and our players need to be playing their best football.

I said the exact two points during the game. I'm not sure what has happened to Colston this year but his drops on crucial third downs are killing us. And yes Brees needs to heed coach's advice and "Just take the sack" sometimes.

He was playing on a gimpy leg for 5 weeks or so, and we don't have a consistent running game. We were also without what Pierre and Reggie bring in the pass protection schemes.

Drew has tried to do too much in a short handed situation and that's why the interceptions went up.

Ohhh ye of little faith, must you be reminded that the quarterback that won last years Super Bowl was not the robot one & the winning coach was not the one playing it safe...Footbal is a game of risk vs reward & dedication & heart...There is no replacement for these & a win on the road faced with so much adversity does more for a teams confidence than anything else, which is exactly what they needed to sight their scope on ring #2...Oh & the difference between Brees & Brooks in that situation, was the stupid smile one of them walked off the field with!
