Even the one Brees threw short, Ginn was tracking it, he could have slowed up and tried to draw a penalty. He just kept running, wish he would of kept running out of the stadium and never come back.

Even the third and fifteen interception wasn't a weak throw. I was surprised Drew tried it, because he's been avoiding that type of risk on that type of play all year. But there was velocity there.

Drew's arm is fine. Always has been. I'm tired of the stupid narrative that he's somehow no longer able to throw a deep ball. It's just that we don't call many deep shots running the offense we are now.

I love Brees and think we can win it all with him. But there's a pretty good argument that he is missing throws due to arm strength. I can think of at least 3 passes that missed due to falling short today. And the early throw to Ginn would have been a TD but for his arm.

This isn't an either or situation. Brees can be a very good QB while at the same time have depreciating skills.

It was the situation. Guarantee you he doesn't throw that ball on first or second down. Third and fifteen in a tight game? Yes. Frankly it worked out like we just gave up a long punt return.

Back in the day I’d agree, but c’mon guys for the last few years most of those deep throws that were money so long, every time....are short now. Today one of em was perfect and dropped. But we’ve seen Ginn slow down for most of Drew’s long throws.
