Bronny James (Lebron's son) suffered on court cardiac arrest (2 Viewers)

That is something I am curious about especially since so many positions in football (mostly the lines) have players carrying a lot more fat on them than basketball players. I was thinking that it might be due to height somehow but NFL linemen aren't exactly short, either
almost has to be a factor
No way bball players put out more cardiac strain than soccer players, but they’re a foot taller

I disagree. Soccer players put out a ton of cardiac strain, but they can and do pace themselves. There's a lot more pace than bball players. I've played both extensively and I feel like I use up way more energy after a basketball game than soccer.

The intensity level is higher for longer in basketball. With soccer it can get really high, but not nearly as much so and you can catch your breath and pace yourself even though the field is far bigger than a court. Where soccer can be tougher is in the heat outside so that does even it out a bit.

Other than strikers, there's an awful lot of standing around or jogging going on on the soccer field. Gotta be the unusual, sometimes almost unnatural, height and limb length that cause these stats to skew more towards hoopers.

Oh I definitely think the height, length issue is more of a contributing factor. Most of the guys we've seen collapse on the court have been the big fellas.

Huh? Nah
Midfielders run the whole match
True 9s probably run the least other than goalies

I know my diet from 15-22 was crappy, I just wonder if fast food/greasy food was a contributing factor.

i should probably refrain from saying anything, so i will. i sincerely hope bronny recovers 100%.
