This is one of the wildest coaching cycles the league has has in a while.

Multiple hot candidates that aren't desperate for jobs and have multiple options. Been a while since that has been the case.

I’d also add that another difference is the fact that we are all watching the play by play closely this time, taking note of every minute detail, with our personal favorites and team interests at heart.

So apparently the Bucs had a condition with Coen that if he accepts their deal then he’s not allowed to go interview for the HC job again, so I guess maybe that’s why he wanted to do it in secret?
