eventually it should involve savings, but that's not the goal right now

what do y'all use to organize your finances?
 
I use YNAB (You Need A Budget). I use the old offline version, which I don't think you can get anymore, but they have a new subscription model that's also good. There's a bit of a learning curve, and you need to understand their philosophy of budgeting to fully grasp the methods. They have great tutorials available, though.

I use quicken and it's been great for 20 years for me. I actually got a free trial version wand have used it since 1997
