Byron Leftwich for OC (1 Viewer)

You’re telling me you want Dennis Allen as HC AND OC!?

Let’s not pretend that he’s what made their offense work, when it actually worked.

i would have liked somebody from the 49ers who knows how to scheme open guys

He should be interviewed at the very least but keep all options open and hire the best candidate.

Yeah, that’ll really turn this team around, hiring an OC that put up FEWER points per game with a better QB and better weapons at WR than our stagnant, **** poor offense with a QB carousel and 1 viable rookie WR. 😒🙄

2022 Saints: 19.4 ppg (22nd), 333.8 ypg (19th)
2022 Buccaneers: 18.4 ppg (25th), 346.7 ypg (15th)

I’m convinced that some of y’all really post on here just to hear y’allselves talk.

2019 Bucs: 26.8 ppg (t-3rd), 398 ypg (3rd)

Maybe they just had a QB that hit the wall and instead of folks wanting to put the blame on Brady, they put it all on B Left. Imagine the narrative if Brady actually played good this season. Not saying that B Left didn't have his missteps but Brady was bad. And Brady has full audible power, so wouldn't he be able to override what was called like people want to say Drew did with Pete when he was calling plays?

Brady was terrible this year, but Leftwich still wouldn’t do better here with worse weapons; especially without the favorable calls the Golden Boy™️ gets.

Tampa Bay led the league in defensive pass interference penalties enforced against their opponent (12 penalties for 232 yards) and were tied for 7th in defensive holding (9 for 41 yards). And they still were in the bottom quarter of the league in points.

You keep bringing up the 2019 team stats. That team had a qb that threw 30 ints and fumbled a bunch too and was constantly putting his team in a major hole. A lot of those yards and points were during garbage time. That team won 7 games.

Bryon is at a critical juncture in his career. Last offseason he played hardball and lost out on the JAX job. This off season he is fired. He will look for opportunities that help build his brand. New Orleans is not the place to do that anymore.

Dennis is in a lame duck year. He and his staff will be fired next year. No one will want to come here due to the risk/reality. As fans we have to find hope in the process.

I agree; they could have done a lot better but Brady did them no favors. That and the run game. The Bucs were a mess and we still let them win the

What if I told you that out of those 30 interceptions, 16 of them came in the 4 games that you can place solely on the feet of Jameis. 49ers (3), 2nd Panthers (5), 2nd Saints (4, although this one can be argued because we were beating yall 20-0 with the only interception at that time coming from OJ Howard thinking he was a Harlem Globetrotter), and the Texans (4). That's 4 out of the 9 games that yall lost in 2019.

Tell me about the Giants where you let Daniel Jones come back and then Gay missing a chip shot to win the game, 1st Saints game where yall got our boy Teddy a $60 million dollar contract, the Seahawks game where you let the Seahawks comeback and Russ has the best game of his career, and the last Falcons game where if Gay makes one field goal, the game doesn't go into overtime.

Yall started the season 2-6 with your defense giving up 32 points per game and in 3 of those loses, Jameis averaged over 300 yards per game, threw a total of 7 TDs and only 1 interception and they all were NFC opponent.

And the Bucs had a +9 point differential. The holes that you say Jameis put you in, he got you out of them most of the time.

And the garbage time points yards and points don't line up with what really happened. Just to be more critical, I searched based off being down at least 2 scores (14 points) in the 4th quarter. Out of 5103 yards and 33 TDs, Jameis' stats in those situations were 326 yards and 2 touchdowns..lol. The Bucs were only in this situation 4 games the entire season.

The Stats

You were just eating whatever the media down there was feeding you huh? lol

No Leftwich. Dumbest guy in the NFL for turning down Trevor Lawrence and Jags job this past offseason. Insisted that Jags hire his choice as GM. Now he may never get the opportunity to be a head coach ever again.

He wanted his input on the GM, but that doesn't make him dumb. A bad decision in hindsight but you're talking about the Jags, not the Giants.
