I've never used that perk. Can you get ammo for any weapon from any dead enemy or do you have to find one that is using the same weapon?

i am not certain but i think you get whatever you need no matter what....including grenades

That sounds cool. I'm going to have to check that out. Although, most times I don't live long enough to need extra ammo. But, I've gotten decent now so sometimes I actually run out of ammo. In fact last night I ran out of all my ammo and couldn't find a gun on the ground so I just charged a guy figuring I'd either knife him or he would kill me and I'd respawn. He killed me first, but I think it kind of freaked him out that I just charged him from the front without even trying to sneak up on him.

Anbody use the FAL yet? I'm normally an M16 guy but I've started using it more and it has been very good at the short to mid range confrontations but sucky at longe range (just enough recoil to throw it off). I have all attachments unlocked but prefer iron sights and silencer or noobtube.

I've decided to unlock all the attachments for the SCAR. I love that gun. I was using the ACOG scope at first but my friend told me to switch the red dot sight and I'm doing much better. my best match today was 19-6

Yeah, the FAL is badass. That's another gun that I played with for a long while before unlocking the M16.

I'm gonna go on record as saying, IMO, the SCAR is one of the worst weapons on this game. IMO, the recoil is just dumb and way worse than most light machine guns. And I don't find it powerful at all. It's only better than one assault rifle, and that would be the F2000. You can literally shoot thru a clip of F2000 in about 1.5 seconds....how mentally challenged.

at first i really loved the SCAR but after trying different AR's i started to like it less and less. my fav gun right now is the FAL! i also like the ACR

i hate the guy in your avatar but the FAL is awesome! abobo used to take tons of my quaters in double dragon!

i run riot shield with a pump shotty, sticky grenades if other people run shields (or throwing knives if not) and stun grenades.
perks are marathon, lightweight, and whatever that "no fall damage" one is, and all perked out to "pro"
i do UAV, anti UAV, and minigun turret. im basically the predator

i dont kill a ton of people, but i generally go 1:1 on my kill/death and 10-15:1 on my assist/death. im the john stockton of MW2, and i have 100% accuracy rating which put me in the top 1500 on Xbox Live.

im accurate because i basically only hit people with shields, throwing knives, and sticky grenades. if i use the shotgun its because i have to hit multiple targets in tight spaces and i have the potential to hit more than one person with one grenade, and since its a sticky on another guy's shield its guaranteed to at least be 100% hit, sometimes 2 or 3 for 1.

its really just a byproduct of my build and playstyle, im sure if i started running and gunning with an assault rifle that accuracy would quickly drop down to crap levels. fortunately, i play the assist role and and just go Fullback on people.

Scav is your best friend. No matter what weapon they were using, you will pick up ammo and equipment. I just went prestige and I miss it greatly.

I like the SCAR for what it is. Low ranking AR with decent damage. It is a bit choppy when you hammer down, but I shoot in short bursts, so it's not too bad for me. The small mag is a downfall.

I can't stand the F2000. I burn through way too much ammo, and my normal motto for FPS games (and paintball) is 'accuracy by volume'. Maybe if I gave it a chance...but I just can't do it. Maybe someday.

You Riot Shield guys...:rant... Just kidding, maybe. I tried using the thing and died. Alot. More than is acceptable. I want to complete the challenges, but man, I just know my K/D would suffer greatly.

I normally roll with a silent ACR or M4, silent AA-12, claymores, flashbangs, scav pro, cold blooded pro and ninja pro. My killstreaks vary, but I've come to like 5/7/11. Missile, Harrier and Choppa gunna.
