A QB can't throw slants without wide-open passing lanes. I stand by my statement X2

Jordan has 0 sacks through 4 games. Pass rush was clearly the issue this game and he's our leader on the DLine.

When is the last time Jordan beat his man for a sack??

He’s tired. Worn down. And I get it.

He is also the oldest.

And with hard hard city miles on those tires.

Father time is undefeated he is a 10 year pro which is why guys like Davenport and Turner, Granderson and even Kpass are so important.

His ten years is in dog years as the amount of snaps he’s played over the years is just mind boggling.

Yep. Carl MIA too. And I had high hopes for him.

too many years of him having nobody behind him as a rotation. Some seasons is was playing like 98% of the snaps. Eventually you had to know it would catch up to him

Also on this note, the team has seen the decline too. And tried to prepare…drafting DE first pick twice recently. Dav and Turner.

I have been posting about this for three years. Can is an effort guy who gets late play sacks as he lacks the speed to be an elite pass rusher who gets to QBs early in the play. I love the guy to death but he’s now become a drain on the team with his contract which makes him untradeable. The only option is to move him inside.

And I hope they do. Like to see him retire a Saint. I knew that contract would bite us in the end, but he’s one of my favorite Saints ever so I’d love him to play it out and retire here.

Yeah, Cam was getting mugged the whole game. Official just watched as he was blatantly held at least a half dozen times.

He and Davis might as well have had guys on their backs the whole game. Officiating was about as bad as it gets, on top of us blowing our foot off with terrible play calling.

He’s just getting old. It explains why we have drafted a defense event so high in the last couple of years.
