Cam Jordan MIA (1 Viewer)

Age definitely not an excuse for cam. Von miler is the exact same age.

Torn acl, ankle injury...nothing slowed him down. He"s got 4.5 sacks in 4 games in 2021.

Still beating doubles....still creating chaos off the edge in Denver.
Cam isn’t Von.

I have a theory,

When you age you go back to the core of what you were as a rookie.

For instance a situational passrusher as a rookie turns into an all around defender as he hits his peak, and then as he declines goes back to being a situational passrusher.

Cam entere the league as an elite run defender, improved himself to become a great passrusher, and now that he's lost that explosiveness he's going to end his career as a run defender.

Comparing him to Miller is apples to turnips.

Von came in as a passrusher and will end his career as one.

They say Roby was the top corner with Houston, so I say Roby
Yea all I’ve read is Roby is a great cover guy. I just think they like the Rook. I’m in the minority but I see a budding superstar in Adebo.

He was MIA the first part of the season last year. Matter of fact both he and Davis were almost nonexistent those first several games and I figured age had just caught up with them both overnight. But both eventually came around (Davis more than Cam.) I will withhold judgement on Cam until the rest of the D is back and he gets his game legs back under him.

Adebo will be a good corner. He has some limitations in his hips and can get beat by speedier guys but he'll learn to guard against that as he matures.

Roby may be the better player but he's A - Still learning the playbook and B - has hit his ceiling. This early in the season and in most cases you lean towards developing your young talent UNLESS that talent has obviously crashed and burned.

Adebo had a solid first 3 weeks and then this game he got picked on.

That's not really a crash and burn, that's one bad game out of four and doesn't indicate a pattern. I say continue to allow him to develop. He's not the only CB that was torched that day, the entire secondary had a meh game with that exception being Marcus Williams. CJGJ, Jenkins, Lattimore, Adebo....all had their struggles.

Roby is a good safe switch should Adebo hit a wall

There is nothing wrong with him sitting for a while. He's a big guy who made have problem with speed receivers and they were clearly picking on him.

Oh I have no prob with him being sat down for a bit if they feel the need. Just think he’s played well and think he’s gonna be a star.

I've heard that Brady spikes the Gatorade with his personal stash of roids.
You must be talking about Prep H and TBs "HEM-roids"!? That guy's a clown and we'll WIN The NFC South AGAIN! This TEAM (as with ALL along So. Louisiana and The Gulf Coast) has been through a LOT.

Let's be realistic over this 2-2 as the PUSH it was. Let's see the product on the field coming vs Washington and then see what we'll see? Personally? I'm glad to be where we are given the injuries ( every team has 'em) but to deal with the return of being "displaced"? I have a LOT of hope! That 2-2? Looks GOOD TO ME!

To those downing TH for his errant throw after hitting some rockets and incredible runs? That ball "should have" clearly been thrown in front of Deonte to race under (he loves that!) Taysom should be saving those 50/50 balls for the taller WRs and TEs. I'm certain Hill will be quick to tell you the same. Both QBs can and will be throwing deeply and often and more accurately, just wait and see.

There's Michael Thomas coming back , I'm hoping; strong and ready and playing with all of his heart to regain his status. Even TQS will also create problems with opponents defenses. Throwing to AK over the flats of slants or great screens?

All on the come! I assure you! We still have one of the BEST HC's of The NFL's history of great Coaches. Do NOT despair! Lot's of ball left and we're getting a strong return of quality players and a BYE coming after Washington to get those players up to speed with their teammates so they may gel!

One man's opinion but it's a valid one! Cheers, GEAUX SAINTS and let's add another "W" which stands for Washington and will raise us up above 50% for the BYE WEEK! I know there's hate for Taysom right now but had he hit that one deep ball? HERO! There will be MORE opportunities and lots of success going forward! Come our Bye week return? Get ready to "Stack" some "Ws"!

We are handling this loss better than I thought… it’s almost Thursday and there’s still 4 people on the roster we haven’t blamed….

yet

Cam will be great on the NFL network morning show across from that brunette but right now he's just a placeholder on the d-line.
