Capital One bank sued... (2 Viewers)

it...does not
your talking about finance is on par with Chuck or efil talking about car engines
y'all are close to making me read a thread on SSF - it's that dire
Did you miss the part where I said I was going to resort to bank robbery to fix my finances? I'm not trying to make you an accessory, just plotting....

I've played this game with these yahoos for a while now. Had to switch accounts a couple of times over the years because they let the previously high rates in one account slowly fade down and then open up a new high yield account to attract new clients (I guess). Do most of my daily banking through USAA, but they don't have any high yield savings accounts. I figured out their game a couple of years ago and now I keep an eye on them. Stupid to have to do this, but they do out perform most other banks, so it's worth the effort for me.

Newsflash: Capital One gets sued a lot.

But this one is by the CFPB, so it’s probably got legs.
This is my jam.

I work in banking regulations/law and with the CFPB on many initiatives. Most recently Section 1033, Open Banking.

Commercial banks are commonly cited for violations. Wells is another repeat offender.

Credit bureaus are also regularly hit with enforcement action.

It's no secret that the bigger the entity, the more gaps they'll have in their compliance management systems.
