Our offense was downright terrible especially in the second half of the season. The piss poor creativity, lack of feel for the game, and misuse of our playmakers on offense and all is so very obvious to see and there's no reason to believe those things will improve.

I think Pete didn’t fully trust the team he had on the field starting with the QB. I think he will open the O up more next year with a healthy O line and a better QB who can make multiple reads and more importantly read a defense

Historically Saints don't like to fire and pay for coaches to sit at home. It's why all those old Payton coaches had to live out their contracts before moving on...

All it really tells me that they had little to no interest in a staff overhaul. They just want to wait out upset fans and give out bad news later.

Couple that with the fact they will not be ADDING to the offensive staff after firing a guy who had nothing to do with game planning or management is what's most concerning. Carmichael is the offensive wizard in the meeting room is what they are telling us? there has to be some type of internal shakeup, Carmichael takes a back seat to someone else or something, no way you come back with the same staff especially how the season ended vs Carolina.
