Carr and completed air yards—a few plays from the Bears game (1 Viewer)

Calls where the receivers in the exact same location, better play calling on 3rd down, better play calling in the red zone, etc. Play calling has been miles better than where it was at the beginning of the season. They did feel to not be as aggressive later into the last game, like they were with the Colts, but we can also see that there are still some places where execution is lacking. O-line is playing a part but throwing with anticipation and locking on to reads are still causing a few problems, as well. You don't think Carmichael has gotten better over the past few weeks?
What makes you think that when 2 WRs were in the some area it was play design? As bad as some of our WRs have missed routes and ran wrong routes this season I'm guessing it was mostly a wrong run route

Look, if you can't tell that the play calling was better the past 2 weeks over the rest of the year, I don't know what to tell you. I can see it, can't explain it though.

Last 5 games, the Saints average the 3rd most pt per games in the NFC, scoring 34, 13, 24, 38, 24. That 13 pt game, both Hurst and Ram got injured and did not finish the game. And yet, PC called plays resulting in open receivers in the end zone.

The Saints is 1 pt behind the top scoring the last 5 weeks in the NFC. Saints scored 133 vs both the Cowboys and Eagles scoring 134.

The Saints are 1 execution a game from 8-1.

What do you need to “see” to know PC play calling is “bad”? Does the Saints has to be the top scoring team, winning by 3 scores, for PC play calling to be considered not bad?

Some more tidbits. Last 3 games, when Peat started at LT, the Saints gave up 2 sacks (top in league) and 4 QB hits, committed 1 OL penalty (best in league).

What else gotten better the last 3 games? The run game, though still not great, increased from 88 yd/gm to 120 yd/gm and increased Ave per rush from 3.5 to 3.8.
