He seems like a competitive guy who wants to play in the NFL and has confidence that he can. Other than the height, I don't think he's going to be mistaken for Drew Brees. I actually think the better comparison may be Tony Romo, and that could be what Sean Payton sees in him, seeing as Payton kind of groomed Romo in Dallas... with regard to athleticism and a similar type of demeanor (I'm not a Romo fan, but he's a very personable guy and confident player).
If he picks up Brees' habits (he seems to be able to grasp the mental part of the position), he'll become a pretty consistent QB.
