I had to go to a wedding in Newport, Rhode Island in my early 30s. I spent an extra day there, a glorious day in May, and ended up in little pub on the water and they they had a lunch special: lobster roll and cup of chowder for like $13. I think it was 2007.

Both were fantastic. Regionalism about food is stupid - there’s good sheet everywhere.

Can not agree any more. My mom for 25 years refused to try a fish boil here in Wisconsin. I did one last year and she finally tried it and is in love with it. Now to be fair I doctored it up a little from the way they make them in Wisconsin.

We boiled some lobsters in crawfish boil once and they came out pretty damn good. Poured hot butter over the meat…
