Sounds to me it’s pretty damning of Carr
Nah, it's more damning of the small WR who gets injured every time he gets tackled. It's a big boys game and so far he's proven that he can't handle the hits.
Precisely what Nick is saying. We’re trying to use him like he’s a big bodied physical receiver when he’s not. We need to get one to pair with him in the draft, either Tet or TreLet's not pretend like he's just getting injured every time he gets tackled. He's taken some absolutely brutal hits in serious traffic that have led to those injuries.
That's the problem, is how we're using him. He doesn't have the body of Marques Colston, so probably shouldn't use him like we were using Colston.
Could be but Saints coaching staff needs to realize that they have to use Olave a lot better than they have for 3 years now. Several concussions yet something’s not getting through to them on what type of skillset Olave has. This is messy from Nick, not gonna lie.

It's football. He's going to get hit. If he can't run every route and go across the middle, he's not a WR1. He's a WR2 or below if he has to be handled with kid gloves.
DeVonta Smith is smaller, goes across the middle and doesn't complain.
I'm not talking about his WR status on the depth chart. I'm saying we haven't been using him to his best skillset. I watch Philly, they use A.J. Brown over the middle primarily. Why? Because he's huge.
What happened last time they went to DeVonta over the middle with the game over the line versus Washington late in the season? He heard footsteps, dropped the ball, and they lost their chance at the 1 seed.
Agreed. It’s a much softer league now but still dangerous fo sho. Guess he just has to be thrown out of bounds on every play.Nah, it's more damning of the small WR who gets injured every time he gets tackled. It's a big boys game and so far he's proven that he can't handle the hits.
This. I don’t blame him for being injury prone at all, but it is what it is. I actually hope he walks away before he has another couple three of these and it damages him further. His life is way more important than football, not my call tho, or anyone’s but his, he’s a grown man. I wish him well either way. It's football. He's going to get hit.
