In last year's Super Bowl OT the 49ers were driving in OT, 1st and goal, score a TD and go home champions. OC calls 2 stupid running plays in a row that don't gain squat, kick a field goal. Chiefs go down and score a TD to win.

Buffalo finally ran out of magic. Considering what their roster was, most people had this as a soft rebuild year for them. Beyond impressed with what they accomplished this year. It will be exciting to see what they do next year with hopefully some upgrades on the defensive side and at WR.

KC has had offensive struggles all year, but once the starting CB for BUF left the game it was too easy for them. Classic composed showing from them. They took care of business.

I think (similarly) KC's magic runs out in the SB. I don't see how their offense can compete against the Eagles Defense, and PHI can run on anything with their All-Pro running attack. It could get ugly. Still, Philly is mistake and turnover prone, so anything is possible.

Peyton didn't have the best playoff record, having to deal with Brady and prime Pitt. Both guys are young and should get over the Mahomes hump one day.

At this point in their rivalry, Manning finally got Brady. Year 4 in the rivalry which started in 03, Manning took Brady down. Josh is five years into his rivalry with Mahomes.

Josh might have more in the tank after 30, but Lamar....not so sure.

If Philly didn't turn the ball over for a scoop and score TD in the first half of their first meeting, I believe they'd have won. It was 14-7, it looked like it was about to be 21-7 then the fumble for a score happened.

Agreed on Buffalo. Amazes me seeing calls to move on from their HC. Playing against a juggernaut each time in the playoffs, also against the refs, is a very very tall ask. I think the Bills did great this year all things considered.

Lamar is going to experience what happened to Cam and Vick, a fast decline. At this point he has taken between the NFL and college 10 seasons of poundings. He he is also rather small. Once his legs go, that's it for him.

Buffalo did not get some close calls, but Kansas City looked like the better team. And I thought the Bills were badly outcoached. If I saw Buffalo run Allen under center on fourth and short one more time or go for one more two-point conversion, I was going to scream.

Because the conspiracy people are as looney as their claims. The NFL is not directing the officials to decide the outcome of football games to fill some partiality agenda. It just sounds like a bunch of whining kids who don’t get their way every time they see a bad call in a game.

Good teams win more than they lose and bad teams lose more than they win. But it seems that more and more people are having a hard time accepting that simple fact.

In the whole scope of things that was the PLAY of the game. It was a first down the refs took it away from the Bills.
You can say what you want but the refs again bailed out the Chiefs. The NFL will never ever take out the human element
from the game and use the technology available to make the game better. The officiating was again a joke. There was
so much holding against the Bills defensive line in that last KC TD drive that was not called.

Dave, you know as well as I do that most of the commentary around here has been about how the NFL is fixing football games. So I made a few sarcastic replies to show how wrong that thinking is. But if people want to believe that, it’s fine with me. It just gets old reading those comments on every other post whenever a game doesn’t go as folks had hoped.

I hate the Chiefs too. But my team lost tonight because they didn’t make the plays they needed to in order to win. I wish that people could accept that without all the conspiracy comments. It really takes away from the game.
