I didn't see this posted here or on the EE board, and thought it should come to everyone's notice:

I thought I understood them to say on the Sports update WWL just a few minutes ago that he was actually elected to the Hall, but this article says he has made the finalist list, and the voting will be completed in mid-March (which is close to now, so maybe WWL was right?). I don't know yet which is the case, but frankly, with my "LSU colored glasses" on or not, I think he's a shoe-in.

I loved the break on his curveball. Too bad he didn't use it a bit more sparingly in the pros. Throw it too many times and players start keying on it and knocking it a mile.
