At this stage, it is clear to me that mandatory vacations are the way forward. It's time to get back to normal. People are tired and stressed out. We can't let the selfishness of a few, dictate the freedoms of the many.

Like mandatory lunches. I'm down with it. This growing expectation for Americans to skip vacations is getting out of hand.
Drag those damn workaholics out of the office, stick 'em on a beach and pour a couple mai-tai's down their gullets.
 
My grandkids will be telling their Covid stories to their kids.
I doubt that. My grandparents, great aunts and great uncles were the grand kids during the 1918 flu. I heard about that pandemic but at school, not from the people who lived through it.

It was like the KKK political epidemic of the 1920's a few years later, no one who lived through it wanted to talk about it.
