Couple paints obscene message on top of roof (1 Viewer)

Wow that is serious!!! I have planes fly over my house and a train in my town. Noise does not bother me at all. If it were quiet that would make me feel uncomfortable.

Why would a plane flying over a train in your town bother you?

In almost every case the airport was there long before the houses.

There is a reason houses are inexpensive near the airport.

In Los Angeles some of the airports require noise abatement procedures that are dangerous and difficult to fly in a high performance jet but we do them to avoid the fines.

People move next to an airport and then immediately begin complaining about the airport.

i don't even notice when planes fly over anymore.....i grew up in driftwood, kenna, which is almost directly under the path of the north/south runway.....the airport is about 2 miles from there

I heard that, brah! I grew up in Driftwood too, and the planes never bothered me. It got to where it was just a normal part of life to have a deafening roar every 20 minutes or so. It wasn't until I moved to Luling came back to visit that I was like "What the hell is that? Jeez that's loud."

As long as they stay over my head, I'm okay with it.

The planes fly over my house all the time. I knew it when I bought my house. I live with it...so should they!

the article says that flight paths were recently redirected.....so, i am guessing that they didn't have planes flying over before that:shrug:

from the article:

"The FAA's new departure headings out of Philadelphia went into effect last month as part of a massive restructuring of the airspace over the congested corridor between New York and Philadelphia."

Yeah I think it's a little different since the flight patterns changed... either way I just think it's funny that they took the time and money to do that.
