N/S Dallas Cowboys Misery Appreciation Thread (1 Viewer)

The Force, clearly AND evidently, was not with Brett Maher and the Dallas Cowboya in their now-nearly yearly quest for an elusive SB appearance. I mean, likely most Cowboys fans would settle with them just making an NFCCG appearance, even if that meant them getting blown out by Philly or Niners every yesr, that would show some incremental signs of improvement, in terms of the team's overall success. Logically, the Dallas Cowboys have hit a figurative and literal wall as it relates to their franchise post-season chances. First, it began as the team went 13 years without winning a playoff game, then they managed to win one but got caught up in the Divisional Rd. And they've been marooned there, seemingly listless, ever since. It hasn't been for a lack of trying, Dallas has had numerous All-Pro's at most positions, they had a great, multi-purpose QB in Tony Romo that if he'd had played for 10-15 years with the Eagles, Vikings, Bears or Packers, he'd would have had a far more successful career because with those better coached, more loaded teams he likely wins those playoff games he loses in Dallas. Romo also probably plays longer and isn't forced into retirement if he plays for a better, more well-managed organization that gives him good O-lines and dogged, consistently solid defenses and a FO/ownership that didnt come across like a P.T. Barnum traveling circus freak show. I'd goes so far as to say that if Romo had thrown to close maybe 45,000-50,000 career passing yards, he'd be a borderline HOFer, IMHO.
