If he could play like he did at Fresno, then I'm all for it. One thing you have to account for is his offensive line has been horrible his entire career and we have only given up 35 sacks in 2 years. He had almost three times that many his rookie year alone!!

I really thought he was good and worried about him finding a new life in Carolina. He was dreadful last year. Either he never really had the talent to play in the NFL or his days in Houston sucked it out of him.

But if we do indeed sign Carr. Bright side is that Payton is a QB guru, so he could fix up his mechanics and Carr could get decent advice from Brees as well. Also, Carr would HAVE a O-line here in NOLA with some weapons around him.
