I told Brett Favre where he could find a big snake at the aquarium

None of the above is metaphoric
I was never a Favre fan at all, but I have a very thin connection to him. Stick with me on this one. My first wife was married to a guy who is now living with Favre’s mother in law. My oldest grandson knew this guy that my ex was married to as his papa. So my grandson was invited to come over to swim at Favre’s house. I had to be in Hattiesburg that day and my son called me and asked if I could go by and bring him home. So his house is about 15 miles west of I59. So off I went. I got buzzed in the gate and was told where I could pick him up. I drove to the side of his house just as Favre was walking over towards my truck. I got out wearing my Drew Brees shirt and my Saints prosthetic leg. I introduced myself to him and to be honest he was very nice. We talked for a few minutes before he made a comment about my shirt. He surprised me by saying something all of us already know as he told me that Drew was the qb best to ever play the game. He then led me around to the pool and I got my grandson and left. i would’ve loved to see the inside of his house because what I saw was unbelievable. It was nice to meet him but I’m still not a fan.

I do not like backup quarterbacks that are already legends.

We had one of those back in the day. His name was John Fourcade. Won three games at the end of ‘89, then got to be grand marshal of a coupla parades the following Mardi Gras and posed for several wall posters before he came crashing down to Earth the following season.

Reminds me of Jake Delhomme photoshop job that had him in some funny pajamas. Its saved on my computer, and i currently on phone, so this is best i can do:

I'm having some terrible fashion flashbacks here.
He looks like he just stepped out of the old Night Fever disco on Severn Ave. :covri:

Or like an undercover detective from the '70s.
