In this era of rookie wage scale, I always get concerned when a rookie makes as big of a deal as Foskey did about money. There is so little to discuss when it comes to rookie contracts now that if a rookie is that obsessed over their dollars, it doesn't make me believe that they believe they'll be good enough to earn a "payday" second contract.

I literally watched Foskey every play of the second half. I was cheering for him to make even one play. But he did nothing. All of the undrafted free agents did 10X more up front. I was so excited when we picked him in second round. I can’t believe he is showing no talent. He is definitely going to practice squad. Maybe in 2 years if he puts in the work and strength training he can develop into something. Because right now he is simply not ready for NFL level football.

I was just about to say maybe they should use him strictly as a nickel stand up rusher like the 49ers did with aldon smith. His stand up speed to power rush is the only thing I’ve seen remotely work.

When we took Foskey over him I was not happy at all. Not that it matters. Keion isn’t only 285 pounds and fast as heck but he has bend. He’s a better prospect than Foskey in every way IMO

I saw a linemen just putting one hand on Foskey chest and he just stood there. I was wondering when he is going to make some spin moves, put his arm underneath the lineman, or bull rush a guy. But he did none of that. Just engaging and it didn't look much of anything.

Who in the world on the Saints staff scouted Foskey. Because he did not do his job. To pick this player in the second round someone on the Saints staff was sold on him. That scout to me is a bigger issue than Foskey, because he choose him.

the sooner we admit our colossal mistake with drafting him the better. What a whiff.
