Allen has always been this way. He’s intense and high energy and that’s how he wants his players to be. The camera just caught him this time.I feel like this was important for Allen to do and for fans to see.
It’s been my biggest beef with him. He sometimes looks like a spectator out there, especially when we are on offense.
I get that’s not his side of the game day play calling responsibility, but he’s in charge of the WHOLE team. If he sees a player false starting at a crucial moment, or making errors, no matter what side of the ball, GET ON HIM about it!
I don’t need him hooping and hollering like a crazy man all game long, but every once in awhile, show the players that you’re fed up with them and give them reason to fear their job is on the line by continuing to make you mad.
It was a short video clip in the OP, but for a brief moment there, Allen actually resembled what I believe a HC is supposed to look like after a player makes a mistake.
