Sure. 10-7 against a Charmin-soft schedule that most teams would have killed for, and dominated against. You know except for a missed field goal in the Green Bay game the Saints would be 10-7. How can firing DA be reasonably justified? In all honesty, more consistent play in the run game and run defense would make this a 10/7 team or better.
i argue that the reason he should NOT be back is that he killed off one of the best fan bases in the NFL. I used To plan my weeks around the Saints. Do I travel in for the game? Where will I watch it if not? And the whole day was configured around the Saints.
I didn’t even watch last weeks and this weeks game. I can’t even imagine not watching divisional games in past years. Last year, I traveled to Atlanta for the opener. Now? Unless it is on local channels, I’m not going to watch it,
I love the team and players, but DA and his lack of apparent passion killed the team for many of the fans. Unfortunately, it is reasonable to suspect he will be back next year.
