Derek Carr practiced today. (1 Viewer)

Best thing they could have done was let him heal up properly. Let some of the divisions on the team mend in his absence. When he prances out next Sunday, best they can hope for is sullen acceptance. Worst case the Dome gets crazy hostile.

And Tua wasn’t concussed that time either. You ever been tested for a concussion. It’s not very scientific. Not saying he wasn’t or was but being in the concussion protocol isn’t the end all be all of it.
Yeah OK, I'm gonna stick with the medical personnel & not the message board guys with the tin foil hats

How in the hell is him practicing even possible considering the updated concussion protocols? Wasn't the concussion he suffered last week his second in one month?

I can't recall specifically, but haven't a handful of players have to retire early because of a series of concussions within a small frame of time?

The next big hit and this dude might be a drooling mop.

This coaching staff is pathetic.

Nah...he aint because he wasn't hurt in the first place

I didn’t want to be that guy, glad you volunteered.

I do what I can...that theory has been brewing in my brain for a while.

Those boo’s hurt his heart. I can tell you that. Easy out to say ouch.

Man...if this guy is just checking himself out of games when he gets his feelings hurt, this team has a bigger problem on its hands. He has shown that he will throw plays if he is upset...is it that crazy to assume he just checks out while angry at the fans?

He needs to take his 17 concussions and sit out a week or three.

I know Carr has rubbed many the wrong way (his own doing) but some of you are just heartless. You want to hate on him so badly that you accuse him of faking the injury when he was lighting it up?
Okay, to be clear. I don't think anybody "faked" anything. If this guy was genuinely concussed, I'm just amazed that he's able to return this quick considering he was concussed a few weeks back.

I'm assuming he cleared whatever league requirements existed. Based on the kind of quarter he was having, maybe if he plays he can pick up where he left off, because he was red hot.

I definitely don't think he was faking an injury. In fact, I suspect his shoulder is really bothering him and at the least his ribs are bruised if not cracked. It's probably been like this since Week 3, hence why his aim has not been great. It's kind of negligent of the coaches to keep rolling him out where his injuries are also causing poor passes which might get receivers hurt too.

And to also be clear, I too am surprised that he's back practicing. I'm just also surprised some are actually thinking he was faking an injury.

You guys are ridiculous.

He was not faking after that hit. And he’s not faking a concussion. He was playing his best stretch of the season before that dirty hit. The idea that he wanted to come out is laughably stupid.
