A lot of blame is being placed on Carr and I agree he deserves some but I would love to see him with good play calling. He moved around the poket so much better today. If receivers had run better routes on plays that only needed 5-10 yards we would of stayed in this game.

He shouldn't have played today. There were short balls to open receivers. He can't throw the ball away to avoid a sack. He locks in on targets, no shot clock. Played tough but we should have committed to one QB taking all the reps this week. Winston should have started.

Carr isn't it long term. I've said he isn't Cousins, Wilson, Stafford level but in the Tannehill and Jones tier. He wasn't a Defense away from being a top 10 guy. He is the classic 16-24 QB that says the right things and flashes enough to keep getting contracts.

Carr is exactly what we should have expected him to be. He's a middle of the road QB similar to Teddy and Dalton. He can make the throws that are there when protected well, he doesn't make too many boneheaded errors. But he's nothing miraculous and I don't why anyone thought that he would be.

Agree with the first statement. He has zero feel for the game. But the game hasn't passed him by. He's just quite literally never had it, at all.

I refuse to judge players ability playing for this staff.

The lack of effort is inexcusable, so thats one thing. But I cant judge how good these players are or arent until this staff is gone. I think they are bad enough to remove any talent a player might have from the equation.

Not a Raiders fan myself, but have seen more of their games than I wanted to because I don't pay for or pirate Sunday ticket and sometimes watch the late afternoon Sunday game, which is often aired unopposed and disproportionately involves teams out west due to time zones. Carr didn't look this bad with the Raiders IMHO.
