Derrick Carr is just who Raiders fans said he was. (1 Viewer)

if we had the Raiders version of Carr we are 3-1 maybe 4-0.

Carmichael is the problem. He has no clue what he’s doing. His play calling is atrocious especially on third down.

Is there anyone in the building with the slightest clue on how to call an offense in 2023?!?!

He was infinitely better with the Raiders.

100% of this is on Loomis, DA and Pete.

I refuse to judge players ability playing for this staff.

The lack of effort is inexcusable, so thats one thing. But I cant judge how good these players are or arent until this staff is gone. I think they are bad enough to remove any talent a player might have from the equation.
+1. 8 first round picks used (some under Payton to be sure) on the OL and DL, and what kind of production/achievement? How much is busts vs coaching? I completely agree that we can't be sure the players are terrible until we get a real NFL coaching staff.

Are you really doing this?

152-92.

17-40.

This team is undiscipline, unmotivated. Theres no sense of urgency. Theres no mid game adjustments. Theres no imagination. No risk. No chances. The offense is as stale a 6 month old bag of open cheetos. There no confidence coming from the sideline. No answers. No changes. The dude IS NOT A HEAD COACH.

Its coaching. You dont sit a .298 winning % in your 5th year as a head coach by chance. That is a persistent, unwavering, proven loser.

Carr is exactly what we should have expected him to be. He's a middle of the road QB similar to Teddy and Dalton. He can make the throws that are there when protected well, he doesn't make too many boneheaded errors. But he's nothing miraculous and I don't why anyone thought that he would be.
I'm going to quote myself to add one more thing.

Carr also didn't need to be much better than that with the loaded roster we have. Any game manager should be able to succeed with this roster. The play design and play calling on both sides of the ball is absolutely killing this team.

Then Pete learned nothing from Sean, and Drew sold Carr lies In telling him that he would have a hand in the weekly game plan.

Carr is proving with each limp wrist pass, his accuracy ain’t his strong suit.
The accuracy issues are alarming, he has demonstrated some great accuracy in the past. I’m sure the pressure isn’t helping.

I admit I was VERY optimistic that he was just what we needed. The season is still early, but man the vibe on this team is bad right now. I’m back to zero confidence when the ball leaves his hand. Really disappointed so far.

I don’t think the pressure is helping, but each game this season he has thrown 3-4 passes that my dead grandmother would throw, or he would take a sack rather than throw the ball away. He has no Aaron Rodgers or Drew Brees in him, just Steve Berline.

I agree and pointed this out when he was signed. He was not a true upgrade over Dalton. Actually Dalton may be better.

His play is questionable at best. I was kind of glad that he showed frustration at the end of the game though. At least he cares. A lot of other guys(mike thomas) were flexing after receptions when were down 2 scores, running half arse routes, dapping the other team. I feel like things are too loose under Dennis Allen. Way too loose.
