Desean Jackson Anyone? He is available (2 Viewers)

There's no way we can possibly miss on trading for a WR at this year's trade deadline. There's so many good WRs available on affordable salaries, DeSean Jackson, Brandin Cooks, Andy Isabella, and Devante Parker. Plus Evan Engram at TE may be available. Odell Beckham and Allen Robinson have expensive salaries, but they're available. Only half of their salaries have to be paid this year.

Over 5 starting caliber WRs available for trade, I'd be extremely disappointed if the Saints don't trade for one and get Winston some desperate help at WR.

I agree, though I can certainly see Payton and the staff being stubborn about their stance as well. What Winston has done with what he's been given this season is nothing short of commendable, and it really makes you wonder what he'd be doing with guys like MT, Sanders, and Cook out there.

I would go big in a trade, preferably Allen Robinson. He’s a total beast. Don’t know how I would do it but I would. He and MT13, Calloway, Harris, Stills…it could definitely work.

If the Bucs can “manage” Antonio Brown, then I think we can work with DJax. He is a legit threat to catch deep balls. I would rather see Harris on intermediate routes where his open space running is a threat.
DeSean Jackson is no comparison to Antonio Brown when it comes to a bad attitude and being a jackass. AB has that corner marketed. In fact, he has the whole street.

Apparently, it’s lack of targets. God knows that wouldn’t be a problem here. We have no true WR#1 right now and even at his age, he’d be the an immediate WR1 for us until MT returns.
Desean Jackson isn’t remotely close to a #1 at this point.

Saints: we’ll get you your targets.

On the field? You’re getting the ball.
On the sideline? You’re getting the ball.
Run to the locker room? We’ll find a way to throw it to you in there too.
Look up your stats online. You had four targets from us last week. Don’t ask how.

Him or Cooks I'll take! Cooks has the advantage of already knowing the offense though so I lean to him more.

We definitely have the QB now that can get him the ball deep; that much is confirmed.

.....love ya Drew!
